'Band Aid' is written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, who also stars as one of the film's leads. The film follows Anna (Zoe Lister-Jones) and Ben (Adam Pally) a married couple who are using music as a way to push through a very dark time in their relationship. 'Band Aid' presents itself very much as a comedy and for the most part I agree with it as it is a very funny film, but at times, it does turn to more of a dark comedy as it examines some very real and powerful relationship struggles. By far though, the number one reason 'Band Aid' succeeds is because of the outstanding performances from both Zoe Lister-Jones and Adam Pally. They have this incredibly adorable yet awkward chemistry that just made the film for me. Fred Armisen also stars as the hilariously uncomfortable next door neighbor who steels the show when he is on screen.
