Unlike 'The LEGO Movie' and 'The LEGO Batman Movie', this one is made very much for kids. The humor is very childish and the storyline is very simplistic, so much so, that about 30 minutes in, I was asking myself: "Is there a plot?" It also seems liked this film was a rushed out sequel. One of the aspects of the 'The LEGO Movie' that I loved most was the creativity that went into the LEGO world. Everything, from the water, to the trees, and the fire was all creatively crafted using LEGO pieces. That is not the case with the Ninjago movie. Most of the world and its natural elements are standard animation.0 member like this review.
