    'Kong: Skull Island' really ended up surprising me. The characters were all very strong and well acted and the special effects, direction, and cinematography were all top notch. The story wasn't anything groundbreaking, but I did like the direction they took it. John C. Reilly was excellently cast as the quirky comedic relief. Overall, 'Kong: Skull Island is very entertaining and I excited to see where the MonsterVerse goes.
