So now this and Godzilla are a movie franchise, let's hope Godzilla vs Kong becomes a thing :D. Anyway to start, the movie delivers the thing you want to see: action. The action in this movie is superb and it is backed by great visuals as well as CGI. The plot is better than average, but here is where the movie meets it's biggest flop: it has ZERO character development. This was a huge let down for me and although Samuel L. Jackson's and John C. Reilly's characters were given something to make them more interesting, it doesn't change the fact that the majority of the characters are given almost nothing. I also thought that the green screen in some scenes of this movie was very noticeable and kinda took me out of the moment. Overall Kong: Skull Island delivers the action you want to see but fails to deliver character development. In the end I give the movie a 7 out of 10.1 member likes this review.
