The Cabin in the Woods is a great love letter/parody of classic horror movies. It takes all of the classic horror/slasher flick tropes and turns them on their heads. The standout performances for me are from Fran Kranz as Marty (The Stoner), and the two Technicians, Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford. Cabin in the Woods isn't as scary as other horror movies, but is surprisingly very funny. If you like classic horror movies I think you will adore this film, as I did. I give Cabin in the Woods an 8/10. I definitely recommend this movie.1 member likes this review.
