Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is Shane Black encapsulated in a nutshell. As my favorite buddy cop film (L.A Confidential is more of a three-way buddy cop), Kiss Kiss Bang Bang surely takes everything positive about Shane Black's aesthetic style and combines it with an enthralling and constantly entertaining plot. Robert Downey Jr. and Val Kilmer are the BEST buddy cop duo, and have some of the best chemistry in any film ever. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favorite films ever, and will continue to be.
