When we talk about how pivotal marketing is to a film, Passengers immediately comes to mind. The disingenuous campaign, masqueraded this production as a love story set in space; in reality, for an hour, the movie is a bleak, and realistic telling of what happens to a man when he's alone in paradise, the other half however, is a creepy and formulaic film that falls victim of genre tropes.
