  • Get Out is a totally trail blazing accomplishment in filmmaking. Full of outstanding performances from a talented cast, a perfectly-paced screenplay, and a brilliant direction from Jordan Peele.

The scares hit the psychological and emotional level, but what's great here is that it never forgets its thematic links in racism such as slavery and white liberalism.

Catherine Keener and Bradley Whitford are amazing here, while Daniel Kaluuya is a revelation. It's also really funny. Lil Rel Howery is a scene-stealer.

I just think that if the film went to a more mysterious or implicit way of storytelling, it could've been better.
