Star Wars is an ever-present phenomenon in this society; however, risks still exist, in making a star wars movie that is not episodic, but rather a tie-in anthology film. The risk that they took, paid off Immensely, providing us with one of the most expansive star wars stories in terms of world building, the motifs and mindset of the Rebel Alliance, and both space and earth bound assaults. Rogue One explored what the episodic films could not, and for that it gets my utmost praise. Rogue One was a war movie, with good enough character development, poignant yet realistic dialogue, and damn entertaining action. Overall, Rogue One broke the boundaries of a Star Wars film,explored new things in the Star Wars universe, and the made something rather brilliant.
