A grand epic that surpasses its predecessor with a brilliantly acted dual-narrative. In part two, the highs barely rival the horrific lows which seem to spit on the grave of the original godfather, Vito Corleone. Pachino is electric, constantly bubbling with a calm rage under the surface while De Niro achieves a fantastic performance of Marlon Brando (playing De Niro, playing Brando, playing Pa Chino, infinity infinity) As I said previously, I am more of a stylised over realist kind of guy but The Godfather Part two is undoubtedly a fantastic story.
