The Nun is an unbelievably lazy movie. It is clearly some product of a loathsome machine that sits in a Hollywood Executive's office. This machine asks for a noun, in this case, 'nun', does some whirring and cranking, and out comes a half-baked, microwave meal horror movie.
Not one moment of this was scary, no matter the sinister visuals. Strange accents, characters repeatedly forgetting what they are supposed to be doing and a ludicrous villainess who can just do uhhhh whatever I guess. Such a poor effort on all accounts. The only joy was seeing Demian Bichir play a smoldering priest; somewhere between Kurt Russell and Bruce Campbell. Truly a waste of time. I will be praying for all of the actor's careers.0 member like this review.
