What amazed me the most about this film was the incredible acting talent. Not only do you have the excellent Brie Larson, but supporting her are names like John Gallagher Jr., Kaitlyn Dever, Rami Malik, and Lakeith Stanfield. While I don’t agree that SHORT TERM 12 (2013) is a masterpiece, it is definitely one of the better indie films I have seen in the last few years.1 member likes this review.
