Between this and the American remake, I consider the Japanese original to be the superior film. But, just barely. My reasoning behind this is because the Japanese setting allows for scenes and story elements that make the film more interesting and a bit creepier than the American version. I would suggest if you liked The Ring, you should give Ringu a try. There’s no way you will be disappointed.0 member like this review.
