The Boy is a film by William Brent Bell and stars Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans. Cohan stars as Greta an American 20-something that is hired by a British family to nanny for their child, which turns out to be a really creepy doll. I personally really enjoyed The Boy. The story has a really original spin on the creepy doll subject matter that really surprised me. I expected a paint by numbers horror film that I would forget about in a few days, but it was not that. This movie has kept me thinking days later and left me wanting to watch it again as soon as I finished it. Lauren Cohan and Rupert Evans both did really well in their parts and had great chemistry together. Cohan has always been one of my favorites in The Walking Dead and I hope we see more lead roles from her in the future. I am going to leave it at that as I don't want to spoil anything, but if you like horror movies, I would highly recommend this one. I give The Boy a 7/10.
