Marvel is literally unstoppable! Guardians of the Galaxy is already the fourth Marvel film coming out this year and it looks like from film to film quality always gets over the previous film.

Guardians of the Galaxy left fans standing behind with the output of the first trailer of the film. The die hard fans of the Comics found that the fact that the film seems to be a bit different from what Marvel had shown until now, counting up the use of many humorous moments, would mock the story. My first impression was completely contrary and as I imagined, this was one breath of fresh air that introduces almost a new variant within the category of movies about superheroes.

Would be a thief, an assassin, a maniac, a tree and raccoon able to save the Galaxy? That's what we try to find out. An important task lies in the hands of this apparently uncontrolled team that will not only discover important facts about each as beings but also feel the responsibility of what is having the life of other beings in their hands.

Peter Quill (or Star Lord as he likes to be called) is a human who was kidnapped when she was very young by aliens and lives since then in the Galaxy. He stole an artifact that for unknown reasons seems to be desired by many. This leads later that Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket intersect in his way and together they will form the Guardians of the Galaxy.

We could say that the movie is actually a superheroes comedy full of action, but the comic tone that could possibly have ruined it, makes it very smart and entertaining without ever seriously victimized the dramatic part of the story.

Very thrilling and full of action from beginning to end, the comedy is never used in a pathetic way. Everything else is also great, the special effects, the sets, the wardrobe and especially the magnificent soundtrack that is used in an absolutely brilliant way.

The characters are absolutely delicious and we connect with them immediately. Each of their stories affect us differently and makes us want to know more about them. One of the reasons why the film works so is the fact that the characters appear to be actually real.

All actors were impeccably chosen for their roles, even Dave Bautista, the famous ex-wrestler who had left me with some questions about his performance. Chris Pratt was great and managed to completely be the perfect protagonist full of charisma. Rocket Raccoon, with the voice of Bradley Cooper is arguably the funniest character and steals every scene he is in! For the rest of the cast, Zoe Saldana (who plays the ruthless Gamora), Vin Diesel (apparently a silly tree) among others, there's nothing bad to say about!

I must emphasize that as I read in some comments about the film, it reminded me a lot of Star Wars. All of that universe and how it was transported to the film is somehow similar. Now the question is, whether this will be the Star Wars of the new generation?

Guardians of the Galaxy is an awesome movie and is undoubtedly one of the best and most well done movies that Marvel has ever made! A perfect blend of action, comedy, emotion and heart in a history.

Good job, Mr. James Gunn! You directed a masterpiece of entertainment.
