Wow! I didn't think it was possible for a movie to make me feel that uncomfortable and awkward and still absolutely loved it! Get Out is a racially charged horror/suspense film from the first-time director Jordan Peele. The film which was also written by Peele is a very fresh and original movie that utilizes a sense of awkwardness to set the films creepy tone.

The two main leads Daniel Kaluuya and Allison Williams were incredible as Chris and Rose. They had a very authentic and cute chemistry that made you feel like you were watching a real couple deal with these unique and crazy situations. Lil Rel Howery, who plays the comedic relief friend of Chris, was also a particular standout from the film. His comedic timing is spot on, and I hope we see a lot more of him in future.

Get Out (2016) completely surprised me. It was a film I had heard good things about, but I would have never expected this caliber of a horror/suspense film from a comedy writer and first time director. Great job Mr. Peele! I give Get Out (2016) a 9 out of 10.
